A web programmer since 1996, Rafael brings years of experience to any project he faces. He is well versed in ASP, Cold Fusion, PHP, MySQL, Microsoft Access as well as Java and C++. He also offers a fine arts orientation to his work as a photographer, oil painter, and as an accomplished bass player in both orchestral and popular genres.
A Bay Area native, Rafael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA in 2002. During his college years, he either designed or helped design many different websites for Spokane Area Businesses and nonprofits. This work included building extranets and web based business and data managment tools these organizations could use to leverage their data to get the most return for their money.
After graduation, Rafael expanded his consulting work to the insurance industry and created a special database application to retain customers. In addition to his knowledge of insurance agencies and best practices for how they manage their data, Rafael is familiar with the data management requirements of health and wellness applications due his work with Eden Medical Spas and the development of an on-line practice management application for massage therapists.
